Monsoon Blues

Rains and monsoon is all about chai, pakoras and fun.  Rainy season is refreshing until humidity starts to curb in which leads to many heath issues like skin and hair damages.
It has been pouring, and all the bad effects of the season are already beginning to show on our hair. Pollution, dirt, grime, stress and UV rays are few common culprits that lead to hair issues, during these rains. Unlike girls, boys too suffer from this problem who don’t take regular dedicated care of their hair. So do not let these general problems hamper your hair which needs extra care and attention.

HOT OIL MASSAGES
Every grandmother would have passed on this piece of advice to their granddaughters, but sadly very few follow it religiously. Oils are traditional remedies for hair since decades. When you oil your hair, it gives that nutrients and vitamins that it needs. It also gives a great shine that we used. Many people don’t enjoy the feeling of constantly rubbing oil into their hair as it can cause skin issues too. Nevertheless, hot oil treatments are the best solution one can suggest.

Solution: Instead of using one type of oil, you can mix two or three types for more good results. Combine olive oil, coconut oil and almond oil together for fruitful results.

A GOOD DIET

As popularly said ‘A healthy diet gives you healthy body’ which is indeed true. A good diet to help your scalp and hair consists of nuts, yoghurts, whole grains, broccoli, carrots and fresh fruits. Eating unhealthy can give your hair many unhealthy oils that damage it. When your hair becomes damages and unhealthy, it is much harder to grow and it looks unappealing. It is a simple solution, but it takes a lot of dedication to keep going. If you do change your diet to help your hair with hair growth food, you are likely to see some positive results.

Solution: Eating loads of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables every day. Avoiding junk food which is a must to keep your hair and body intact.

MEDITATION
Stress and fatigue are the main factors which results in hair fall. The best way to control stress is to practice yoga, meditation and various breathing exercises. Meditation also helps in restoring hormonal balance of the body. You can also do free hand exercises, cardio vascular exercises which in turn strengthen your hair follicles and thereby heal hair loss.

DAMAGE REVERSE SHAMPOOS
Hair natural shine comes from its natural oils. However, most shampoos strip them away completely. So it’s crucial to choose shampoos that are mild or ones with labels ‘restorative,' ‘damage control’ or ‘damage reverse.' These products usually have essential oils infused in them and make hair manageable, stronger and shinier.
Along with these you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You should get sufficient amount of sleep to stop aggravating the hair fall problem.

Admittedly, the all-in-one piece is tricky to pull off, but done right, it can look sophisticated, and actually very sexy. For a perfect playsuit, the silhouette is undeniably important: Make sure the fit is comfortably tailored that cinches at the waist to outline your figure. Be sure to pick playful prints and bold hues to make it stand out, and then keep all other accessories to a minimum so your main piece can take center stage.

Be slim, Be smart !

We all are apprehensive and conscious about our body no matter how much we diet, do yoga, aerobics or work our ass off in gym. Well, as we say there is solution to everything then why leave this ? Dress yourself up slim to look svelte this season.

Wear Heels !
While wearing heels on a day to day basis isn’t ideal for your health, if you want to look slimmer for a big night out, swapping flats for heels can make all the difference. Heels instantly make your legs look longer and more toned and make you appear taller and slimmer. For a more comfortable alternative, try opting for kitten heels or wedges. Also, avoid shoes with ankle straps which can make legs appear chunkier.

Wear the right sized clothes !

While this may sound obvious, many people make the mistake of opting for a smaller dress size to make them feel slimmer or for larger, baggier clothes to help conceal problem areas. However, wearing ill-fitting clothes is one of the worst things you can do if you are hoping to look slim. To create a slimmer figure, always opt for well-fitted clothes that flatter your shape.

Draw attention to your body parts !

To start dressing slim, you need to take some time to work out your body shape and think about what suits your figure. Dresses that are nipped in at the waist and skim over the stomach and thighs can flatter curvier figures, for example, while those with larger legs may want to avoid calf-high boots. In fact, try to avoid any item that cuts off at the widest part of your body, such as cap-sleeved tops for those with larger arms. Take a friend and a camera and try on different styles of clothing to learn what emphasizes your best parts.

Go for dark colours !

Most girls know the power of the little black dress for helping to create a slimmer silhouette. However, if you are fed up of wearing black for every night out, darker shades such as navy, dark purple and brown have a similar slimming effect. On the other hand, light shades like white and beige can add on the pounds.

Try these out , Give yourself a makeover. Coz as we proudly say LOOK BEAUTIFUL !
